POLL: Should the 3K DLC be released as is or should it be postponed and reworked?

Fair point, still waiting for that trailer.

You can play with Chronicles civs in any game mode but ranked, so you dont need to worry about that

I would love if they did, specially if I were one of those 20  11

I don’t know if this was posted here before, I haven’t seen it if so, and quick search yielded no results
but I saw this mod in mod manager. [ThreeKingdoms] Main Menu mod

It was a common thing back in the event mods days, every patch had came with a new main menu image. IIRC the Women Day, that had Joan of Arc, is the most download main menu mod, thoug not sure it its the official or one that someone else upload to those who missed the event.

That’s awesome!

Yep, I remember event mod wallpapers and such, but 3K isn’t a patch; it’s DLC. I didn’t know if this 3K one was because I pre-ordered the DLC or not, so thought I would share (since many people don’t plan to buy in protest).

Here are official wall papers I can see in my mod area. Since I didn’t buy The Mountain Royals DLC but yet I can see it’s menu mod, I guess everyone probably has access to the 3K one, too:

Too bad the preview thumbnail is blank/black for all of them. Would help to see preview image

This wallpaper also apply to ROR in my game, is it intended?

I don’t know, actually. I don’t own RoR yet
and RoR doesn’t show in my mod list

Would be odd for the same menu art to be used for two DLCs, so I’m thinking it’s not intended if they’re the same for you. Be sure to re-launch the game after picking different menu art mod for it to successfully switch. I learned I have to do this to see different menu arts. Maybe you didn’t relaunch the game?

Just a bump so more can see and vote.

Wow, 81% with 180 votes.

Now that is telling. Next week we better hear news of a delay.

We need a hotfix for crashes, medals bug and command lag issues without delay though.

We won’t. If they were going to respond, they would have done so already. The studio is taking the V&V approach: ignore the community, push it out anyways, and roll in the piles of money people give them because they don’t want to take a stand against the studio because of some vague sense of guilt about “not supporting the game.”

The community needs to take a stand and refuse to buy.

The devs should consider doing polls like this in-game on the home page, or on the Steam/Xbox pages for this or anything else they want to try and get the pulse of – for a wider and bigger sample size.

They’ve done some surveys before, but they were sooooooooooooooooo long, and also very granular, and like once a year.

I do like the idea of in game polls. like one a week. three questions or less. should take 60 seconds or less to finish. I think people would be a lot more willing to do a really quick survey once a week, than a monster survey once a year.

Also you theoretically wouldn’t have to give everyone the same poll. imagine if you have say 150 questions, split those into 50 different surveys, then you split the player base into 50 different groups. so all the questions are being asked all the time, AND you can track change over time.

Age of Mythology does frequent polls actually, i’m surprised AoE2 doesnt do it given how spread out and large its community is. I think it could be interesting

Indeed! I know all about those. Have spent countless hours on them. And at least one time lost all my work because there was no way to save your progress at the time and the forum conked out. And then when I tried to re-do it, it wouldn’t let me because the system thought I had already taken the survey (probably because I clicked the link and reached a certain point in it) :expressionless:

I do, too. And after almost cluttering up the thread we’re in here to talk at length about it, I decided to make a new topic about it instead:

Awesome idea!

Really? That’s great! They’re “in-game”, too?

Afraid not, its an external survey that appears in the news tab of the game. I think i did at least two of them since the game released.
