[Poll](Updated) Which civs would you like to see in the game? (All popularly requested civs included)

If you want a brief idea, in the subcontinent all civs that are neighbouring the west coast i.e. Arabian Sea got the gunpowder technologies earlier than their counterparts.

it’s almost like they were closer to where those bringing gunpowder in were from.

Here’s a nice unit idea for UU:
rocket
The Mysore rocket: Used by Kannadigas in 18th century.
I know it is out of timeline but I just liked it’s animation and wanted to share. If Native Americans can have cavalry then this should be no problem. LoL.

this woudnt be the most anachronistic uu idea i believe
a uu idea i like is the royal camel
if the magyars were camel focused
thats why i asked for camel civs
another one is the zarambuk
and siege elephant

Homogenous culture, but not population.
The Sinicization process made all Chinese ethnic groups adopt Han culture, but they were still different in genetics, many retained their languages, and a few retained most of their previous cultural practices.

This was specially true in the Middle Ages.

So what other cultures do you want the mainland china to be divided into for middle ages?

Nubians. Replace their Scout with a Unique Raider unit, that is a Camel Scout with the exact same stats but a minor damage buff vs Cavalry.
Then it upgrades in the Imperial Age to Imperial Raider (or Royal Raider if you want), which is a Hussar-Camel mix.

Give them a Bedouin Nomads UT to make all Camels train instantly (like Shotel Warriors) and remove Plate Barding Armour.

I think I posted a cool Nubians Tech Tree around here. Here it is:

It could indeed be cool for a Nubian civ.

Perhaps one with focus on Camels, Archers and Militia line units, but pays for big bonuses by not having any of the last Armour upgrades and no Pikeman.
Something like this:

Nubians
Archer and Camel civ

Bonii:
-Barracks upgrades cost no Gold
-Crossbowman and Arbalest upgrades free
-Archery Range units get +10% Line of Sight

Team Bonus:
-Camels get +1 Attack

Unique Units:
-Raider- Camel Scout unit that has the same stats and cost, with +5 Attack vs Cavalry. Replaces Scout line entirely. Is trained at the Stables
-Kushite Bowman- Archer with a bonus vs Infantry and high Melee Armour, but lower Range.

Unique Technologies:
-Makurian Footmen- Militia Line units get +30HP
-Bedouin Nomads- Camel units train instantly

Tech Tree:
-Barracks- No Pikemen
-Archery Range: No Hand Cannoneer
-Stables: No Scout, no Cavalier
-Siege Workshop: No Onager, no Heavy Scorpion, no Bombard Cannon
-Docks: No Careening, no Fast Fire Ship
-Monastery: No Illumination, no Block Printing
-Blacksmith: No Platemail Armour, no Plate Barding Armour, no Ring Archer Armour
-University: No Guard Tower, no Bombard Tower, no Siege Engineers, no Architecture

I liked the name you gave for the expansion of the Americas: new world! The name would sound great for an expansion - Age of empires 2: new world. This is how the Americas were considered, a new world. Now about a separate DLC for each America, I think there would be no need. This DLC could well include: 3 North American civilizations (Mississippians, Iroquois, Anasazi - Pueblos); 1 Mesoamerican civilization (I have no idea of any for now); 2 civilizations of South America - Andean (Mapuches,
I would also leave it up to you to choose the second new Andean civilization, perhaps digital). Thus, 3 civilizations would close for each America (from the north, meso - central, and south - Andean). Coming with this expansion are two new architectural sets: for the North American peoples and for the South American (Andean) peoples. Furthermore, if it was left for a next expansion, it would hardly come out. For some in the future would say (as they say today), “there is no need to explore the civilizations of the Americas any more. They are already represented, they have already expanded, we will focus on civilizations elsewhere now
”. That is why I would think it would be better for this DLC to leave at once with the 6 new covilizations and the new architectural sets.

If they included Iroquous, Mississipians, Puebloans, Tarascans and Mapuche; I think it would already be a good expo.

Tarascans are technically Meso-Americans, so they could serve as a bridge civ between North America (gets Trackers) and Meso civs (gets Meso Architecture.

wouldn’t you then add a third andean civilization? The one that already exists is Incas. The second that many ask for (including me) are the Mapuche. Wouldn’t you like a third to balance, three out of every America? I would love to see continental tournaments (where participants could use the respective tournament civilizations). I would love to see a tournament with only Native American civilizations.

To be honest, no. We would have enough American civs if we got 8.

This would be very limiting. I want more civs, not to get restricted to only a few.

Really. I think you’re right. 8 Native American civilizations would represent the continent well. It would also be easier to make a DLC (Expansion) come true because the maximum we have seen in addition to civilizations by expansion was five.

There is an americas themed tournament being held right now
King of the Americas

I think they’re currently playing the quarter finales. Tatoh vs Heimdall and Doago vs DarkNight is scheduled for today

What is about Juan vs Twigg?

Thank you @NumberHornet376 ! But as I also noticed in the forum some complaints, precisely because of the number of civilizations today (Aztecs, Mayans and Incas). Therefore, by increasing the number of civilizations, the tournament would become richer and more interesting. If an expansion of the Americas emerged, bringing five more native civilizations (Iroquois, Mapuche, Mississippians, Anasazi - Pueblos and Tarascans, or as @JonOli12 suggested:

Yes, 3 civs is not enough, and not very representative of the Americas.
6-8 civs would be far better, and at least have quite a bit of variety.

I think we should just add another 5, and call it an expansion, since 8 would be a good number of Nat-Am civs, and at least cover the major imperial cultures of the 2 continents (it is technically 2 continents).

Adding the Mapuche would already make 4 Eagle Warrior civs, then there should be added 4 North-Am, or 3 North-Am with one transitional civ for context (like the Tarascans, which could get Meso Architecture, but get the Tracker instead of the Eagle Scout).

I have a mixed North American-Mesoamerican DLC concept (5), a South American concept (4) and Tarascans in my Forgotten DLC

You want too many civs, though. How would you make Tlaxcalans, Zapotecs and Toltecs different to Aztecs?
