POLL: What Civ or Civs would you like to see in a future DLC/Expansion?

They seem pretty straight forward

Yes, I guarantee you that after the last variant DLC (Novgorod for Rus, Seljuks for Ottomans, and Songhai for Malians) will come the American DLC (Aztecs, Incas, Spanish, and Danes, or just Aztecs and Incas but with many UUs - like 10 UU each - and Aztec and Inca architectures like AoE 3) (Spanish and Danes would only use the European set; the Spaniards would be like in AoE 3 and the Danes like AoMR Norse but without mythic units or simply like the AoEO Norse or the Norse from the Millenium mod from 0 AD)…

Hello @MatM1996 I hope you are doing well. The Aztecs, Spanish, and Vikings/Norse are the three civilizations most requested by the community. I highly doubt they will release them all together in the same DLC. In my opinion, if they do release a DLC for the American continent, they will focus on the Aztecs/ Incas and Spanish, greetings.

But that Norse architecture is very off from game timespan. AoE IV covers Early Middle Ages to Renaissance.

These ones represent better that

In cronological order, Viking Age (Dark Age- Feudal Age)

Middle Ages (Castle Age)

Renaissance period (Imperial Age)

Yes, that’s why I say it might just be Aztecs and Incas as American themed DLC, 10 American maps and little else (maybe American scenarios for The Crucible)…

Yes, that’s why I said they might reuse European architecture… in the Norman campaign the Danes are literally English but with a different flag… add five UUs, landmarks, and you have a new civilization…

The Persians could be included… but I see they’re going to introduce the Ilkhanate (1256-1388) first (it’ll be an another Mongol variant but with Persian units and dialogue)… the Sasanian Empire is out of the question because they fell before 750 CE, and the Safavids seem very close to the timeline limit, although if Age of Empires 4 ever goes up to 1700 CE, we might see them (it’s a shame we didn’t see them in Age of Empires 3)… now getting back to the topic, we’ll probably see the Khwarazmians (1077-1231), Timurids (1370-1507), and Qoyunlu (1374-1508)… we’d probably see the Ghurids (786-1215) as another Delhi variant… the game offers plenty of possibilities with the variants between the Ottomans, the Abbasids, the Mongols, and Delhi…

Bro they will add mamelukes guarenteed because they made shares about them before the dlc release.

None. Like Beasty said, I would take a patch with just QoL improvements, hotkeys, bug fixes, and a revamp of the interface, especially the garbage stats display at the end of each game. and more content like the crucible or campaigns. and a vassal mode. Though I suppose they only get money to keep the lights on with new civs. alas…

Yes, at least as an Abbasid UU, since they are an iconic unit (probably based on the AoE 3 version)…
