“Wants” and “Needs” are two different things.
Children will want endless junk food and disregard the side effects, while their bodies need real food.

Make a “Celts” DLC with Nervii, Arverni and Helvetii and make an Asterix and Obelix campaign to go with it.
Middle East. There will be 3 new forces and 2 bonus civilizations in ranked multiplayer just like 3K.
We need:
They should have a unique tech where enemy monks die after converting their units. It could be called Martyrdom.
Both Seljuks and the Sultanate of Rum do exist if you want to play with them.
Pick the Turks, don’t train Janissaries, and never advance to the Imperial Age. Done.
Epic DLC idea: add five new civilizations.
1- Joan of Arc’s army
2- Joan of Arc’s second army
3- Antarticans
4- Yakubians
5- Almighty Empire of Ulm
Also remove Turks because the roster is too bloated already.
But… Puts serious hat on I think they can redeem themselves quicker if they make a proper East Asia DLC as the next content release. Or who knows if a Chronicles sequel will release next, there’s 2 separate teams, but I don’t know how likely a sequel for that will be. Just don’t make another experiment…
4 per year.
It’s not about how many are already there, it’s about how many new ones we have to learn.
There is no max limit in my opinion.
With 4 per year it would take over a decade to double the current civ count.
At some point they will obviously end the support for the game, but I hope it’s as late as possible.
I wish they would keep making new AoE3DE content too. So many civs still missing.
honestly I think even that is more than is needed. I think a normal 2 civ dlc every year, and something more experimental, sp only, chronicles, tales, whatever, once per year in between would be great.
2 dlcs per year, steady flow of both normal stuff and more experimental stuff. If you don’t care for the experiment, no worries. something you’ll like is likely only 6 months away.
Maybe every five years give us a conquerors sized dlc for a nice anniversary celebration.
Mesoamerica or South America would be my first pick (but it is not in the poll).
Every accusation is a confession…
Text from the Chronicle of John Skylitzes:
“… When the aforementioned races of Scyths, the Hrovats, Serbs, and the rest of them saw what had happened in Dalmatia as a result of Roman intervention, they sent delegates to emperor requesting to be brought into subjection under Roman rule. This seemed to emperor to be a reasonable request; he received them with kindliness, and they all became subjects of the Roman government and were given governors of their own race and kin. …”
So, I choose Balkan.
An architecture set for at least three (Nomadic, Byzantine/Caucasus and Medieval Chinese plus a Tibetan/Tangut one) They should settle affairs in East Asia before moving on.
Devs, hear this appeal!
They should finish Medieval East Asia properly before moving on to some other region or Chronicles.
Medieval China first and foremost, as an apology for this entire mess.
Otherwise, it’s time for the Slavs split imo.
damn these are some unrealistic votes. as much as i want medeval china (and a dynastic split that ik people here wouldnt like), they wouldnt go back to the region for quite a while unless it was a fix to the 3k dlc.
personally i want europe just bc i want to play knights and knights are kinda a regional unit these days.
@PersiasRerising What do I vote for South Asia/Indian Subcontinent?
What about Native America Dlc?
Why is there no Americas option?
I wouldn’t want anything like that so soon.
