[poll] You're buying the 3 Kingdoms DLC?

No… they didn’t fix the medal bug completely. I want my bronze medal back for Xie An scenario! Silver is unsightly.

Funny how even Jurchen doesn’t have a different set of voice line, they just copy paste it from Chinese civ. Quite Lazy if you ask me. But hey, they have to make sure hero units are here to stay in pvp match, F*ing annoying, tbh.

my answer is yes bc i want to play the civs, play the campaigns, i buy all the dlc, its great value, the campaign looks pretty interesting and to write a actual steam review that isnt just hating it or being someone who only plays campaign.

Like the possible answers are kinda biased, its like no one cant like the 3k civs. shu is pretty fun to shoot 1000 arrows

I did buy it. I still do like it and would give it an overall good review. But it is just sooo different than what people expected and does feel a little underwhelming compared to what i was expecting.

Many of my Chinese friends bought this DLC for Three Kingdoms.
But one part I feel a little bit strange, from the archaeology, Shu had the best metallurgical tech and best economy system in that time, that’s why they only have less than 2 million people but are still able to compete with other larger countries. It’s strange that they only have 1st mele attach tech. (Archaeologists found very nice long swords of Shu, and other two countries didn’t have ability to make similar long swords. And archaeologists also found the coins of Shu all over China, and even in Afhanistan, that means this small country had active international trading. Ans Shu is also famous for their textile techs.)

And at the same time, Wu was famous for their navy. Their navy were widely searched the world like Korea, Japan, Taiwan and Southeast Asia, but their navy loses some important tech in the game which is out the expect of many Chinese players. (But their swordmen are very strong, which makes this civ very popular in rush.)

Based on poll, at least we can be sure that active part of this community would rather some tradional over experimental changes.

Personally, I think this DLC is a missed potential too hard for both AOE2 and Three Kingdoms media. It was too much big of a project to introduce, especially with the new price tag like Return of Rome.

I was very disappointed when I found out it was a 3K DLC, basically because I wasn’t expecting that but something else.

I bought the DLC but the next day I thought “hell no, I’m not supporting that” and asked the refund.

This is the first AoE DLC I won’t buy. I can’t stand the integration of the Chronicles 3K project into the base game.

All I ask is a relatively simple change: move the 3K content out like Battle for Greece and remove the civs from ranked. After that I will absolutely buy the DLC. I think all of this turmoil can be sedated, if the Devs want.
