Are you going to buy (or already did buy) the 3 Kingdoms DLC?
- yes because I like the 3 Kingdoms (campaign)
- yes but only because of the Khitans and Jurchens
- yes but only to support the developers
- waiting for sale
- waiting for changes
- no
- completely boycotting the game until they remove/change the 3 Kingdoms
The DLC releases in a few hours and it doesn’t look like they are going to move back on the decision to add the 3 Kingdoms to ranked.

My reply would be:
Yes, because I want to get all the achievements and win all the campaigns, and also because I want to give it a negative review the moment it is released, with some of the main and most discussed points stated in here, which would hopefully make a sufficient impact.

The completionist in you is stronger then your hate towards the 3 Kingdoms?

The negative review has the top priority…but…
To answer properly, I’ve got 50 games in total, and all of them are “fully” completed (not just 100% achievements, but everything agame has to offer - except for some MP ridiculous nonsense like in MW2 or cod BO), apart from these - the new scenario in aoe, 5 bugged achievements in attila (a terrible game anyway, which I completed as quick as possible), and 1 dev-awarded achievement for owning the game in 2011 in red orchestra II. So, what do you think?
Extreme OCD, I do not recommend it.

I would have definitely bought and pre-ordered a DLC which was just the Jurgens and Khitans, where they did a campaign for each + a Chinese or maybe Korean campaign. Or even better, they did Jurgens, Khitans and Tanguts
I would also probably have bought a 3k DLC if it was done in the same manner of Chronicles: Battle for Greece
So they could have gotten 2 x $20 (regular DLC price for my region) out of me if they just did them separate and put effort into both of them. Instead, with the route they did they won’t be getting any money out of me at all. They really should have just made 2 seperate DLC and they would have made much more money I reckon.

I completely agree.
To expand We got African kingdoms and Rajas for 10 bucks each, with 4 new civs and 4 new campaigns, each. Then we got the last khans with the DE - 4 civs and 4 campaigns (Pachacuti for Incas was the 4th campaign).
Given the inflation and whatnot, it’s ok to pay 15 bucks, or to get 3 camapigns and 2 new civs…but what we all want, is for every single civ to have their own campaign where they can be properly showcased. Historical battles, and especially victors and vanquished, are definitely NOT that. So Khitans + Jurchens, as well as their own campaigns + a Chinese and preferably a Korean campaigns, for 15 bucks, would be a fair deal. Khitans, Jurchens, Tanguts + 5 campaigns for 20 bucks would also be cool. But 3 kingdoms are not fine, and neither are Khitans and Tanguts with no added campaign.

No option for boycotting the game until the medal bug is fixed?
Didn’t think about that.
But the poll would have to be 10 pages long to include ever single theoretical option.
Like boycotting until they fix pathing or until the make the Turks OP.

Missing one vote option: “Yes cause I love the game”

There is a “I want to support the developers” and a “I like the 3 Kingdoms” option, isn’t either of that what you want?

Isnt that the last option?

I am also missing a suitable option
I bought it for the content and the price.
3k Kingdom doesn’t really interest me but there are always new Campania as more to play in my favorite game. better than not getting a dlc. i find the two medieval civs cool. too bad they don’t have Campania. and the 3 others always bring new mechanics to the game that will surely be interesting too. and for the discounted pre-order price i won’t say no to that.
I would have preferred the DLC differently yes. I am disappointed yes. I will still play it but I will probably leave a negative review

Kind of glad it was disappointing because I am broke and partially employed. If I do buy it, I’ll buy it when it’s super cheap.
Bought it almost for free (thanks to Microsoft Rewards) because of campaign and Jurchens & Khitans. Must admit it I never cared about 3K but AOE2 as usual got me curious.
As much as I’m a campaign player, I may buy the DLC in 1 or 2 year or much later if I’m that bored about the game. I got all gold medal and campaign achievement. The only campaign I haven’t touch is the V&V which I also don’t plant to buy, and in RoR I only finish the Trajan and Epirus campaign. So currently my default answer for this DLC is no.
Missing option: Yes, just to leave a negative review

If you just buy to refund then I’d consider that a “no”.
“completely boycotting the game until they remove/change the 3 Kingdoms”
By making the civ roster dreadfully unsatisfying, they made it easy for me.

Fixed with the update accompanying the DLC release.
My answer would be “yes to get all the new civs”. So maybe “yes for some other reason” would be a good addition to the poll. I don’t play the campaigns, I want to have all the civs (not just Khitans/Jurchens), and while I’m perfectly happy to support the developers, that’s not the reason I bought the DLC. So far as I’m concerned, the preorder discount was effectively a sale (and likely to be equal to any upcoming future sales), which is why I preordered it.
That’s what I meant with the yes I like the 3Kingdims option.
It doesn’t mean you don’t also like the other 2 civs.
