The devs rendered the Chinese castle very poorly. Compare how blur it is - even in UHD - to the Mongol castle, the Turkish one or even the Roman one. Please fix this - among other problems with the DLC.

On top of that, something else feels off—the Chinese castle doesn’t have a gate tower at all!
Gate towers are one of the most iconic features of Chinese military architecture. You’ll find them in almost every historical walled city across China. Yet the Chinese castle in the game looks like a boxy fort with no entrance tower.
Ironically, the Korean castle model has a large, beautiful gate tower that actually looks more like a traditional Chinese fortress. I’ve always felt that castle would be more fitting for China.

It’s not exactly a tower on the door, but I also thought the Jurchens castle would fit the Chinese very well.

Absolutely, I just took a closer look, and you’re right—the Jurchen (Jin) castle is actually even more fitting for the Chinese civilization than the Korean one.
Its structure, roof style, gate tower, and overall layout are classic examples of traditional Chinese military architecture—much more accurate than the current “box-style” castle used by the Chinese civ.
Historically speaking, the Jin dynasty founded by the Jurchens is widely considered a traditional Chinese dynasty, and their palaces and city fortifications were built entirely in the Chinese architectural style.
So honestly, if we had to reuse an existing model, I’d much rather see the Jurchen castle copied and assigned to the Chinese civilization. It’s far more authentic than what we currently have.

The Green Roof one is the Chinese one and it looks very bad. Even the Mongol one, while too zoomed out looks better. They could revise these two I feel.
I agree. Jurchen and Korean castles look better. Chinese castle is wrong.
