Portuguese on Nile Delta

I think this civ could be somewhat broken on this map. I went for a fast imperial age, and the first thing I did was make 5 feitorias, with relics on top of it. Camped in the corner. I am blue. If I am not harassed I think this is virtually unbeatable. I proceeded from there to turn my island into a island fortress of doom. And my enemy were Incas.

Could this work on higher ranked play?

You wouldnt be left untouched in higher level.
If you manage to defend yourself enough to go late game, then yeah, much likely it’s unbeatable

Don’t even have to be Portos or on Nile Delta to pull off something like this on a water map against a civ with no Cannon Galleons.

But yeah, more of a lower level thing.
