I’m throwing one some ideas from AoE3DE that could be implemented in future AoMR civilisations.
Units:
- Mounting and dismounting cavalry
- Deflect damage (unit takes damage instead of nearby allies)
- Charged attacks
- Promotions (units get stronger for each kill (up to 3 times))
- Units that can change modes (Linger and Bombard mode for Siege)
- Reveal enemies that were shot
- Increase damage when near natural resources (trees and mines)
- Increase stats when nearby allied/enemy buildings
- Different attacks for ranged, melee and siege that change automatically
- Different attack speeds depending on range
- Debuffing a targeted enemy unit
- Stealth
- Armour changing depending on unit stance
- Units that can train other units
Economy and buildings:
- Building that collects natural resources (Torps)
- Building that generates resources when hunt is nearby (Shrines)
- 5th unique resource
- Free but slowly training villagers (Ottoman bonus)
- Villager costing Wood
- Building that speeds up livestock fattening
- Livestock that trickle resources (African bonus)
- Free villager with each technology researched
- Free villager with every house build
- Building wagons
- Building that can provide selected global buffs (might require villagers to work on it)
- Building that trains predetermined sets of units (Banner armies)
- Building that slowly trains units for free
- Training dynamic batches of units (default AoE3 build)
There is probably a lot more I forgot.
Maybe one or two of the features are already in AoM and I just forgot about them.
