I’m not sure if this is intended or a bug. My opponent is shown as “ranked opponent” but if you chat with them it does show their name.
its normal it’s supposed to prevent people from searching their rank online, but you can reveal yourself of you want
I don’t think I agree, @VoidMaker5560. My expected behaviour is that while your name is hidden, your name in messages would be hidden as well. I noticed the same problem on FitzBro’s stream just now and immediately came here to report the bug.
Before using a taunt the name is concealed. After using any /# taunt the name is no longer concealed.
Idk how this got past QA. I found it in my first match because I always /3 Good luck, have fun
Chiming in. Interestingly, I’ve seen it switch back to “Ranked Opponent” after revealing:
Me: /3
<Actual Opponent Name>: /3
Me: Wow I can see your name
Ranked Opponent: Yea, weird.
That last message came in right when the timer was up, not sure if that has something to do with it.
Guess no one GLHFs in QA, lol.
