Possible civilizations to add by number of campaign appearences

That thing but on a horse I imagine (I mean, these guys were known for being a lot on horses)? Sounds hard to balance, but interesting

I was thinking originally that the Teuton should get the Crusader Knight but the drawback would be that it was slower much like a Teutonic Knight on horseback but this could be applied to the Jurchen unit too. If I were to input another civilization, I want more archer or infantry civs especially with range.

The melee cavalry using the flail or whip, having 1 or 2 range and maybe deal damage on all the units on the path like scorpion.
Just make it lower HP or armor.
That will be very cool.

Id rather like to see a melee version of the organ gun for this weapon.

I would love to see the Aragonese in the game someday

Im more interested on Moors personally, but imo Spain isnt in great need of civs soon

As we are looking for new civs thru campaigns is it possible to have a second Vietnamese civ in some way ? Most of the Lê Lợi campaign is Vietnamese and Chinese .

Chams I would imagine? But using those are a bit of an stretch (but you can still do it I would say)

It is known that the Spanish led Tlaxcalans in the war against the Incas, so they have been in contact with the Aztecs, Maya, Spanish, Incas, Chimú and Chankas / Wari.

It is also known that the Tlaxcalans were one of the first American civilizations to learn to ride horses.

It could be an interesting addition, unfortunately I do not know the name of Tlaxcalans kings or generals, perhaps some user could explain more about Tlaxcalans history.

Finding 12 leader names for possible civis is harder than expected it seems.

Btw is Armenia represented in the manzikert scenario as a theme?

The game is too far gone for these changes.

Hopefully AoE4 doesn’t make stupid mistakes llike ‘spain’ or ‘italians’ (even tho Italians, Venetians and Sicilians were all different states although there are lots of uneducated people on the forym who debate this)…

Look: if Venetians had anything interesting to add and we applied this standard to every single region around the world it would be fine, but thats just not possible (well, I guess its not).

We have to represent the less represented civs first imo.

I think its not that hard to find names, but it will take some time.

True we dont really need v2 v3 of current civis but we dont need to make this game like a civilization game and add everyone from around the world like north america south africa polynesia.

Dont dare insult South Africa.

Have some respect for the Aztecs of the old world

Aztecs are not North america.

Im talking about Zimbabwe.

Imo Zimbabwe is comparable to Aztecs.

They would be better not totally isolated like aztecs.

They werent totally isolated. They had contact with Kilwa, Portugal and the Somali Sultanates

Thats what I mean. Aztecs isolated people till spanish came. Zimbabwe not isloated and traded with arabs and other powers.

Zimbabwe or Shona civ would be interesting ingame but do we know enough about them to make the leader names and a scenario is the question.
