As someone who uses shift + key to select all buildings (shift + q for all town centers, shift + a for all ranges etc.) I don’t appreciate this feature. I find myself setting waypoints for created units when my intention is to overwrite the previous waypoint. I guess this is a skill issue on my side that can be fixed by relearning years of muscle memory by changing my hotkeys or learning to not hold shift when setting gather points, but even then I feel like its still easy to accidentally set waypoints in intense situations because you have to hold shift to queue more than 1 unit at a time.
I never cared to have such a feature and I will probably never use it , and much rather have qol like being able to set gather points for unfinished buildings or holding ctrl + click to select all units of the same type instead of double clicking. Casual players probably appreciate this feature and that’s cool. But, at higher elos the game can be very intense and this feature that’s supposed to be a qol just ends up being annoying. I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem and I hope we get an option to disable this.
