Profile level progression reset to level 1

I accessed the public update preview and have lost all my profile levels, Civ masteries, and coat of arms items. why?

Because you are playing a Beta.
As soon you ho back to the original you will be back at where you were.

I have same issue but it dose not reset….

Make sure you have deselected beta participation in your Steam library Aoe4/Properties. This should reset your Steam shortcut to official standard AoE4.
Could be wise to delete your user folder “C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Age of Empires IV Test” afterwards.
