Progress restarts every time I launch the game on Linux even after the new update

I’ve noticed that they acknowledged this bug in the new update and apparently it’s now fixed but it’s still happening on Linux, and it’s the bug of the progress getting restarted every time you open the game, I’m currently using Pop_Os! 20.10 but I also tried it with Ubuntu 21.04 and in both cases the bug happens, I also have a laptop with Pop_Os! 20.10 with completely different hardware, and it’s still hapening.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Open the game
  2. Close the game

I’d have all my progress, including the progress I made on the new US Challenge.
