The new hotkeys allow you to save map section control points and access them, currently to do something similar you must put a control group to an outpost (or building) and with x2 go to the place. The new hotkeys add 8 control groups for sections of the map, I see it with a lot of potential for use!
It is similar to Empire Earth2 but without the second minimap.
