I think even A tier is not that good. Because 1v1 Arabia( or open land map) is the ONLY setting where Chinese is above average.
They are likely worst civ on Arena. Absolute worst on Nomad and water map with awkward start. Also meh in team game where archer or cavarly specialized civ dominating.
Now even they aren’t top tier on the setting where they are intended to good at. Do you think Burmese is fine if they are top 10 civ in Arena and worst civ in all other map?
I have alwats thought that thet deserved a better position in arena thanks to their UTs. Better walls and better scorpions sound good for arena.
PLS, add spanish translation to the new patch, you don’t add the changes on spanish language, we have old description from the bonus civs

Maybe it is time to give Bombard Cannon, Siege Engineer, Hand Cannoneer to Chinese. They had these in history.
Do you have sources? From my side I only see mentions of use of flaming arrows, bamboo flame thrower (true) and medicinal use.
Rocket arrows, fire lances are first form of gunpowder weapon invented by Chinese as back as 10th century. Then Chinese invented Hand Cannon (oldest is 1288) and Cannon (first drawing of cannon is dated 1124 in Chinese documents).
