Most of the times, if not all selected villagers have resources to drop off, the new drop off command will not be available

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. select 5 villagers and click on a sheep they have to walk to (so that not all of them will reach it at once).
  2. after at least 2 villagers started collecting food from the sheep, press the stop command, so that only a part of the villagers will hold food.
  3. see that you dont have the drop off command if not all villagers have resources held.
  4. re-select the villagers with a drag box, and most of the time you will still not have the drop off command.

I should have the drop off command if at least 1 villager is carrying resources (or else the command cannot be consistently used).

as expected, they probably tested this with only 1 villager selected instead of testing a group of vills, with and without holding resources LOL

hence so many bug, very poor quality check

This is still not fixed, although its inconsistent and sometimes you have the dropoff command with a mixed group and sometimes you dont.

In order to reproduce this 100%:

  1. select a villager (or multiple villagers) holding resources and observe you have the dropoff command.
  2. hold either shift or control to add to the selection a villager that is holding no resources.
  3. 100% of the times the icon for the dropoff command will disappear.

the likely reason sometimes you have the icon and sometines u dont is most likely dependent on the order of selection of vills

in drag selection on screen, if the first vill has the resource it’ll show up and vice versa. this same issue applied to ram selection as well in another bug that was reported months ago

edit: this was the bug from back then, try selecting vills with resources first and command should become available.

OMG we can generate food from wood, gold or stone with dropoff command. 11
I doubt devs really tested the updates deeply. They rely on us in finding bugs.

Serious bugs. It make every civ get Mongo-like food rate in every age.

This still hasnt been fixed and it makes the new command so frustrating. I just cant rely on it to work.

We’re eagerly awaiting a solution as well. The new commands are completely inconsistent.

I use the hotkey, but sometimes it also doesn’t work, maybe it’s the same bug.

I also use the hotkey, but if the icon doesnt show up to click it, then the hotkey doesnt work either.
