Qamutiik can be put into melee mode but they keep using their ranged attack.
I hope this is an oversight and they are not intended to lack a melee attack. It would be awesome for the sled dogs to start mauling enemy units when in melee. But if is unfortunately intentional, they should not be able to be put into the melee stance.
Also could be interesting to have more variety in weapons than just a bow for both units. Giving the Qamutiik a crossbow or throwing spear instead could be a good option.
