Making “Civ jingle volume” a setting, separately from music volume, would be great!
AoE2:DE has some of the best soundtrack I’ve ever heard in a game, but the in-game music tends to overlap with in-game sound effects/notifications, which is something that can have a negative effect, specially in ranked play. Something I do to offset this is turn down the music volume a lot, but doing so reduces the volume of the civilization themes at the start as well, which is a bummer for me since I particularly enjoy those a lot.
I believe there are other people that share this same feeling regarding civ jingles and it would be a very nice addition to the game as a quality of life feature.
