A 25 seconds training time is also quite long, and they don’t have a dedicated upgrade like most siege units either.

Atlanteans don’t have a log range siege unit as all so I think it’s fine that they are expensive.
It’s not that they’re expensive resources wise, but rather that you can’t reliably make them because of the favor. This is kind of the same case as the Harpy in the Fortress, but at least the Quinametzin is potentially useful.
Atlanteans can reliably spam Fire Siphons if they have the resources to produce them, since they cost 0 favor and they also have a better range in retold.
The Aztecs are supposed to be weak at siege. Not every civ is good at everything in AoM.
The Aztecs don’t lack siege power, the Otontin Smasher becomes very strong in the late game after all the line and armory upgrades, and it trains in just a few seconds making it much more profitable than the Quinametzin.
i totally agree with 2gv. the giants are an awesome addition and a really cool new introduction to siege. LOVE the idea!
its fine they are mythic age.
its fine they cost quite some ressources.
but its not okay they cost so much favor which makes them much harder to built even they are already restricted via age and high gold costs. (upgrades/techs cost already quite a lot favor and its not that easy to generate favor - at least atm)
i would would say 250 gold and 200 food or 250 gold and 100 food and 10 favor would be more reasonable. still hard to mass (which is fine) but at least the chances are higher to built them!
i think we all want to see them more in games cause they are so awesome, simple as that.
(i would even give them the stone skin upgrade via great temple and not via tech of a specific minor god (xolotl) i would instead buff xolotl’s GP so units cannot escape out of the area for example!
