I did in Radio silence or statement from the Devs about the controversy? - #76 by SchwarzeGarde49

You went from deliberately misunderstand other people’s points to finally acknowledging them but saying they don’t matter for unrelated reasons. That definitely shows you want a honest discussion.

I underestimated him, he’s both a troll and stupid.

Holy shit you’re doing the exact same thing people already called you out for doing. You didn’t even type it again this time.

That’s not the thirisadai. That’s the borobudur.

Let me spell it for you again: saying “the Thirisadai doesn’t exist” and “the Borobudur isn’t Indian” isn’t the same as saying “the ship depicted in the Borobudur mural didn’t exist”. Stop repeating the same bullshit you were already clowned on for saying.

But the thirisadai IS Indian, I don’t get it??? Why are you saying it isn’t? :moai:

Well then the name is fake, but such a ship as depicted really did exist in around that region

That’s all

So it’s not the Thirisadai.

“Around that region” is a really weird way to say “not in close proximity at all”

And just to cover all bases, here’s a map of all territory conquered by the Chola (I hope it’s accurate):

You see how Surabaya isn’t included in that map at all? I really hope you see how Surabaya isn’t included in that map at all, because Surabaya isn’t included in that map at all.

No “What’s on the Horizon” section in the DLC announcement.

There’s a strong possibility that TTK will be the last DLC for this game.

I can forsee something dumb like yet more fantasy civs.

It sold very well, supposedly. Besides the controversy, it seems the majority of players don’t care about the staggering amount of issues becasue those are related to aesthetics and theme, but apparently gameplay alone is what matters. So I’m not sure why it would be the last, if it’s “profitable”. At least AoE3 was killed because despite the community support, it wasn’t as profitable as the other games.

Mind you I’d rather not get any more dlc if they’re gonna suck like this one, but still, from a financial perspective they can keep milking this game.

Indochina
The peninsula of southeast Asia containing Burna (Myanamar), Thailand, Malaya, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam; especially, the part of this area consisting of Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam, which was a French dependency from 1862 to 1954.
Indochina - Oxford Reference

Read the screenshot I posted before.

It is a term coined by Europeans, to refer to people who existed long before Europeans reached the region. Not only it has no bearing on whether Cholas and Javanese are related, it was coined way after the time of AoE2.

Again, I seriously hope you get tired of being wrong.

If you don’t like the term indochina, we can call it southeast asia. It doesn’t change the general region where one could find such a ship

STOP DELIBERATELY MISUNDERSTANDING OTHER PEOPLE’S POINTS
THE JAVANESE WEREN’T CHOLA
THE CHOLA WEREN’T JAVANESE
THE SHIP EXISTING MEANS FUCK ALL TO THE DRAVIDIAN CIV
BECAUSE THE DRAVIDIANS DIDN’T BUILD THE BOROBUDUR AND DIDN’T LIVE NEAR JAVA

The Chola weren’t even a seafaring empire, that’s Tamil propaganda

You already accepted that the term “Thirisadai” is made up, stop hammering on a point that nobody is going to concede

The term is probably fake but the ship existed around the region now known as “Southeast Asia”. That’s all

Nobody is going to agree with you on that, stop trying. I know I’ll stop, because I’ll completely silence this thread.

It’s enough that the devs agree with me.
You are free to go play a more historically accurate game

Just one last post from me: You praising the devs for being lazy isn’t the same as the devs agreeing with you.
