Should rally points be included in AoE:DE? You know, setting a flag where all newly-created units from a given building go after being created, like in AoE2. It makes playing much easier and lets you focus on more important things, but wouldn’t it break the original AoE feel too much? I’m really unsure, what do you guys think?

I think that is one of the core QoL improvements made in AoE2 and should be brought over to AoE DE.
Yes I would also welcome this Feature in AoE. Its pretty Handy to build up armies
