Use full random instead?

Full random is not supposed to exclude any, while Random is supposed to exclude last three, according to update 93001.

In any case, these types of repetitions evidently happen regardless if you choose random or full random.

In the update link you sent, it specifies a temporary change to random that change being excluding civs that were among the last 3 used. Also Full random does exclude, it’s set so that you won’t get any civ you’ve already used untill you’ve cycled through completely.

Correct, and as I’ve demonstrated, Random does not exclude civs among the last 3 used. Hence, the bug report.

Also Full random does exclude, it’s set so that you won’t get any civ you’ve already used untill you’ve cycled through completely.

As I’ve also demonstrated, it evidently does not. I’m also curious where you got this idea from?

That update was from 2023, it’s 2025 now, and with that update only being temporary, I’d say it’s safe to assume they removed the feature already. I don’t believe random is bugged.

That update from 2023 “should be still the case”.

Interesting, well my mistake. Carry on Friendo!
