Ranked lobby button greyed out

Issue: Can’t start ranked games. The button is greyed out. When I first went to the ranked tab some message appeared and disappeared too quickly for me to read it. Why can’t I play ranked matches on steam? will refund if I cant get ranked matches to work.

Reproduction Steps:

  1. go to multiplayer
  2. click on ranked tab
  3. try to start a match (the find match button is greyed out for me)

You must run a graphics benchmark before going into ranked for the first time. Go to options, graphics, and press the “run benchmark” button. Depending on your score, the game will allow you to play ranked.

I have the same issue. I have run benchmark several times, uninstalled and reinstalled the game, yet no luck. I can use the “quick play” feature though. just not the ranked games

Does this happen always? Have you tried verifying your game data in steam? When did this started happening?

Exactly the same happens to me. But it’s something new, i’ve played thousand of times without this issue.
