Hi,
After the August 13 server maintenance, I was disconnected in the middle of two consecutive ranked games on the morning of August 14. Both times, the game displayed this message:
“You have been disconnected from the network. Please check your connection and try again. A save has been created for restoring. Would you like to exit without viewing the map and final game statistics?"
I have played AoE II: DE regularly for almost three years and had never seen this message before.
Also, before playing ranked again, the game asked me to benchmark my PC although that has been done already. in the afternoon, it asked me again to do the benchmark, and I had not changed my hardware, game files or graphics settings.
I’m playing the Steam version on Windows 11. Both issues started immediately after the maintenance.
Has anyone else seen this particular disconnect message or been asked to repeat the benchmark since the maintenance?
