all civs received changes to greater increase their differences.
for example Ra starts with an extra priest and villager and gains more with each age up, and they have more hp. he has cheaper priests and partially refunds villagers when they die. Set has cheaper villagers and faster moving infantry with higher damage, while his stronghold units and siege weapons cost less pop.
Gaia gains 10% movement and attack speed from creep, doubled with the channels technology, and more buildings generate creep over a wider area. all her buildings and Age Upgrades cost increased wood instead of gold. meanwhile Kronos trains, builds and researches everything 20% faster as well as refunding siege weapons and heroes as well.
all Loki myth generation and bonus damage increased while Thor gets cheaper armory techs and the dwarven armory generate gold increasing with every age.
all myth units are much stronger and they all scale harder with age. they cost 1 pop per 100 resources and take reduced damage from buildings not including town centers. all ability damage has been changed to divine and recharge much faster. their upgrades are cheaper and much more powerful.
for example fire giants special attack is a piercing volley attack that burns enemies over a wide area, while the Argus deals heavy single target divine damage that also halves enemy move and attack speed. the phoenix flies and attacks faster and respawns after only 20 seconds instead of 60, while the medusa gains heavy poison damage to their attacks.
all myth technologies had their effects greatly increased or changed. Eyes in the Forest Technology for Loki also gives his units bonus damage vs buildings and villagers, while Hera’s Argive patronage causes 10 myrmidons to spawn every 180 seconds instead of 1 every 45. Titan Shield for Atlas also increases destroyer hp by 50% while the Spear of Horus also gives Avengers increased damage and movement as they lose hp.
Rampage by Hel reduces pop costs of all myth units by 1 and Giant units by 3, while also reducing their favor cost by 20% and refunding another 20% when they die. in exchange heroes cost twice the resources and pop.
Tusks Of Apedemak by Thoth now instead increases elephant area damage and attack range, and gives them a 3x Bonus vs myth units.
Olympean Weapons by Hephaestus also increases unique unit armor and damage by 20%
Mythic Rejuvenation by Hekate also increases the hp of all myth units, and the regeneration rate is increased.
if you research “Pioneers of the Sky” and “Halo of the Sun”, your Palaces can lob solar flares half way across the map. it looks amazing.
all god powers scale their damage with age and are generally cheaper too. regeneration also scales with age.
all natural resources have more resources, and economic upgrades scale much harder but are more expensive.
Atlantean villagers costs 4 times as much, take 4 times as long to train, and gather much faster.
Build limits for houses are removed, and Fortress buildings give pop as well. note in the campaign there is a 300 pop limit.
after testing the Isis AI always seems to do the best for some reason. she scales much harder than the other AI players.
