if they are Removing Content/ Move to Chronicles, please offer everyone a Refund or make the DLC Free

Hope you understand but there are people who paid for the DLC like myself solely because its On Ranked, sure i like Three Kingdoms, but being able to play it on Ranked is the main reason, i never bother buying Chronicles as its exclusively SP stuff and Multiplayer is Dead

Nobody wants to take anything away from you… but it’s obvious that a large part of the community is also unhappy about the DLC. And there are several reasons for that.

Banning the civs directly from the main game won’t happen, as they’ve announced 5 civs for ranked.

The best suggestion for everyone would be to take the civs and simply rework them into the medieval civs that fans have wanted for years.

You could still play your 5 civs, but they would just have different names and maybe different UU. And I hardly think many people only want the DLC because they want to play 3 Kingdoms in ranked. That’s a misconception; hardly anyone asked for that.

The dlc isn’t out yet. You can just cancel your pre order, genius. Wait until the dlc is out to decide :sleeping_face:

I bought it because i want to support AOE2 and i like 3K, but i dont want it exclusive on SP and many ppl are the same, we bought it mainly because of Ranked, not some SP content

judging from the Reddit and Forums, the Devs might actually listen to the haters and remove content we paid for

i dont know how you all keeps comparing 3K to alien civs, ww2 germans or tanks or space invaders or whatever

3K is exactly the medieval china many people are looking for

Han Dynasty is Perfectly Medieval Material, and is not much difference from Song Dynasty, Yet people keep comparing 3K to USA States, or some other nonsense

But they don’t tend to keep their promises.

First they lied that V&V would be a campaign DLC.

Second they lied that Chinese wouldn’t be split and all 5 civs are Chinese neighbors.

I did, to get the words across, and if you disagree with 3K being medieval, shall we go back and explain to me why every villager is European looking, same applies for Asian Civs, why do some Asian Civs have European Knights and units?

Everyone would be entitle to a refund if they failed to keep their promises, that’s the point and listen to haters like like the whole lot

Thats why i will still keep my preorder to support the Devs, but the moment they agree with the haters, its a different story

They are making false promises if they listen to what ppl demand into Chronicles and other nonsense

I am at least buying the DLC to support, someone who doesnt even know anything about Chinese History won’t and only want their European Civs

and my point is simply for Devs, if they can’t keep their promise, offer everyone Refunds

This doesn’t even make sense. If it’s not as promised, it’s rightful to get a refund.
Even more so when the dlc isn’t out yet. It doesn’t stand to reason to pay upfront for something that doesn’t even fit the theme of the game. And come to the forums and complain because, in your opinion, chances are the product is gonna change. Just shut up, cancel your pre order, and wait until the dlc is out so you can decide.
You are not supporting the devs, you are paying for something that doesn’t even exist as part of the game yet.
