Refund for Everyone who Bought the Three Kingdoms DLC

Cash grab is when no one does the work and they still want money. V&V is the only cash grab since the individual scenarios are already available as custom mods. Maybe Ror leaning towards it. In all the other DLCs effort has been made to come up with new units, bonuses and tech tree design plus 2 or 3 full length campaigns. Those were all fairly priced. This DLC is even better value for money for ranked players who just care about gameplay.

Its joever if the Devs listen to these people, they really should refund if they listen to these haters

the chance of the Devs listening and putting 3 Civs back to Chronicles is 100% at this point i feel like

and then the Promise of 5 Civs Playable on Ranked would be false advertisement

Don’t threaten me with a good time

To be fair, the devs have lied about the DLC already. What’s another? xd

Videogame devs? Lying? Never heard that

And honestly if they deliver an idea many many fans dont like they should reconsider it

And anyway the stuff previous tobthe reveal was misleading already

Would it be, though? As usual for most anything being sold these days, the fine print covers it. This time, on the Steam store page, as I said it probably did. Did you try finding or looking through any of the fine print anywhere?

Granted, it says “© 2024 Microsoft” there. I’m not a lawyer, but I assume it would apply to 2025, as well

Cuz microsoft owns age of empires IP, whats wrong with it?

That’s not what he’s pointing out
he very literally highlights the clause where it says: “features may vary by country and are subject to change or retirement over time.” Which means they’ve already legally covered their bases for edits and changes to the DLC after release should they wish to.

LoL not sure you are joking or serious

Im joking, just pointing out that the game changed stuff

Tbh before DoI was free I thought that Burmese should have gotten elephant archers so that people without the DLC could still use them. I had the DLC so it wasnt a problem for me but I thought it still would have been nice

Even more reasons because Burmese get the unique tech Howdah which means the box in which archer rides over on the elephant.

Most have legitimate reasons to hate this dlc. please stop calling people haters and entitled. Even if it’s just click/ragebait.

That’s the point
the 3Ks are not medieval China, they are Late antiquity China and are as medieval as AoE 1 Palmyra and Yamato (or the Gallic Empire) in Roman Europe in the crisis of the 3rd century
 :man_shrugging:

Exactly

Yes, lately, World Edge has been crowning itself with “glory” among the AoE 2 and 3 communities

Canceling a DLC they had announced, then delayed, and then confessing they had nothing and hadn’t even started it in the first place
and to make matters worse, blocking people on social media who are reminded of this

Yes, and I feel that perhaps the tech can also improve specifically Elephant Archers by giving them +2 range.
