What they cannot get away with is LYING.
Tell us you are short handed. Tell us you find it unprofitable. Tell us you have other priorities. We are adults. We can cope with it.
Bur from their latest announcement, it seems they never had plans to work on it when they first announced the DLC. They still had no plans when they delayed it eight months later. They knew it will never happen. Yet they strung us along for a whole year. The only purpose is to make their event feel “inclusive” (ugh), leaving the entire playerbase panicking, worrying, infighting, for a whole year, when they did literally nothing.
All these cost merely for them to not look awkward in their event. And they still looked awkward.
They cannot get away with this.
