"Report player"-window sticks on screen

:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

After reporting a player for being afk ingame, the report player window stays on my screen, making it impossible to play. We already were behind by an afk player, if reporting makes you insta-lose the game…

:arrow_forward: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Start multiplayer game
  2. Open the chat tab (trumpet icon in right top corner)
  3. Report player
  4. You can not close this window, and lose the game :slight_smile:
  5. Alt f4 because the window stays forever, even on main menu

Any time I report someone, the report screen freezes on a greyed out screen after I have successfully submitted the report.

:question: List the DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Play any multiplayer game
  2. Game ends, click return to map
  3. Click report player on player x
  4. Fill out report, ticking one or more boxes, and writing any length of text
  5. Sumbit report
  6. Successfully sumbit screen appears
  7. Filled out report reappears but greyed out. - this is the crash, I can hit esc to get back to the main menu and can move the mouse in the background (behind greyed out report) but not click anything

@GMEvangelos please also look into the civ pick menu being stuck as it is still happening, possibly related to this one as well. especially the civ pick menu thats a major issue unable to pick civ before game starts.

lmao this game is brilliant, it punishes people with bugs.

Still an issue, also when you report during the end screen. You can click on the background but the report window does not go away. Build: 5867313, Steam, Win 10

I also experience this every time I need to report a player… Can only Alt-F4 the game after sending the report.
Please fix this, it is very annoying.
