 DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.

During the past couple of games, I experienced this twice. After a while (in this case early castle age), the framerate of the game drops to below 1 FPS with bursts. When this happens, the game lags behind multiple seconds, including chat, actions performed and even victory after enemy resigned. All players (4v4 AI) in the game were shown with red icons next to their names once this started.

The first time this happened, we continued playing and the lag stopped after a while. This time, we decided to quit. However, I noticed that in the recorded game, the lag also appears, suggesting it had nothing to do with network. I attached the recorded game (named rec.aoe2record by the game, instead of following the usual format for some reason). For me, the lag consistently starts at around 24:50 in-game time.
