I know this game already has an (idle) healer hotkey, but for civs like japan or eggy, a unique hotkey that only selects specific healer type units would be a great addition. I use the (idle) healer hotkey a lot when playing japan but its a real pain that it also selects Onmyōji.
Also it would be great to have the option to treat mikos as villagers, with the same mechanics as japanese villagers: idle flag appearing if they are idle, can search idle mikos with the “find idle villager” hotkey.
They were initially this way but players asked for it to not be the case and thus was changed. This originated since you would always had “iddle villagers” showing when you took miko to fights
That would also take them out of military seelct so you would have to move your army and then your miko separate
For eggy you have a find pharaoh and you have find heroes. Which will select all priest and the pharaoh if they arent empowering.

Btw what’s the use-case for selecting idle healers as Japan but not wanting to select Onmyoji ?
I dont want to cycle through onmyoji if I am looking for (idle) mikos, thats all. I think having the option to only check for (idle) mikos makes a lot of sense for japan.
I didnt play japan back then, but to me this just sounds like the devs tried to fix something that was working as intended 
If I have mikos that are actively healing in a fight, they obviously shouldnt appear as idle. Likewise, they should appear as idle (+flag is shown) if they are finished healing and are just standing around - its literally an economic unit for japan.
Ideally the devs give players this option again.
Dunno how doable that is. Buit also when they werent healing and were standing with the rest of the army they would show iddle, and the visual banner of iddle vills and you clicking it only to show it was the miko became a hassle for some players.
Yea i guess best of both worlds would be anoption in settings so players can toggle which one they prefer (dunno if its doable)
Yes and no, since they have dual function. Like the pharaoh or ra priest, it wont show as and iddle villager. Same for an oracle and so on.
I think the best solution for this is to have a “Find Idle shrine hotkey” with a banner. and players can just put a find idle miko hotkey and then assign that miko to the idle shrine.
