A request to our excellent developers - could you release the full images of the unit icons that we currently have in the game? The Unique units but also the regular ones. They look so great and would be good to see them in full glory, not just a tiny snip version…

A lot of unit icons can be found in the game client folders.
See the ‘usericons’ and ‘uniticons’ folders under ‘Steam\steamapps\common\AoE2DE\resources_common\wpfg\resources’
It works, but not all colours are available. I wonder if the missing icons are somewhere else or they just make the game change the colour when relevant.
Hmm, I didn’t think about the colours. All the icons are undoubtedly in the game files somewhere, but probably in some obscure format. The modding community may be of assistance in locating and extracting them.

I wonder why the UU icons from the new DLC (LotW) have more detail or different frame showing more than the older units
What I meant is for the whole unit image, not just the cropped part used in the icons. But the whole unit like this Conquistador from the Conquerors.
