I think there is some confusion here. This bug is only fixed in the Steam version of the game NOT the Microsoft Store version of AOE2 DE: Build Number (#128442)

I have the same script errors mentioned by the OP and have purchased the Microsoft Store version of the game. Im on the latest build (#128442)

Similar script errors also occur in the other RoR campaigns in the Microsoft Store version of the game. (AI Script Error in Greek Campaign)

Hope this helps! I’ve been waiting over 6 months for this bug to finally be fixed.
