I agree, I Will Not Buy anything ROR-related… I was fooled once when I bought it, but I would not make that mistake again.

Yep, pretty much, AoE1 community still active ## ## ### that game got abandoned and they promised us to fix all the isues in Rtr, that too has been abandoned.
There are talks about upcoming content but it’s all paid dlc it seems.
i guess it means it is a dead game by now. time to move on
I think the problem is people who play ROR don’t want to buy both DE and ROR-DLC just to play their game.
How about make DE free and come with just some CIV like what they did with Age3 ?.
This way, people who only want ROR would just buy ROR and that’s enough for them to enjoy the game.
Unit and building proportions are different in both games.
That is true, sizes of buildings are jarring and unit scale is looks really wonky especially with elephants and chariots. Also some of the cavalry animations look odd. It would be better if they had reskinned AOE2 units to look like AOE1 units.
