Your work is (as always) impressive, especially since you’re already creating icons and descriptions for the technology/civ/homecity card. Tell me, do you use AI-powered upscaling or another method?

thank you, I use real images, and when an image doesn’t quite provide what I need, I touch it up with a bit of AI for some of the cards.

Some cards for Paraguay were updated, and several text descriptions were corrected to explain the effects of the new Home City cards more accurately and formally. Additionally, some of the statistics provided by certain cards were improved.

I’d like to suggest some cards and a few other things.

Cards:

Baptism of Fire: San Martín and his grenadiers gain the Charge Attack ability, +50% health, and an extra x2 multiplier against all infantry; Mounted grenadiers gain the Lancer tag. (Argentina)

Paraná Customs: Sends a cart that allows the construction of a customs house; Enables customs house cart training from the town center. (Argentina and Brazil)

First Patriotic Government: Enables the Capitol and Capitol technologies. (All South American revolutions except Brazil)

Hand Cavalry Attack, Hand Cavalry Hitpoints, and Cavalry Combat. (All South American revolutions)

Changes to heroes.

San Martin now has an aura that increases the movement speed of all cavalry by 25% and the attack speed of all units by 10%, with an area of effect of 40.

Bolívar can no longer receive shipments, but increases the health and damage of all nearby units by +25%, with an area of effect of 40. Bolívar also gains the ability to ascend, increasing his damage and health by up to 50%.

Note: Bolívar is no longer available by default for Peru. Peru can now choose either San Martin or Bolívar from the Town Center.

San Martin: Sends San Martin, 15 Horse Grenadiers, and 15 Light Dragoons. Cavalry gains 10% increased health and damage, and all cavalry gains 5% increased attack speed. (The units are of Industrial level)

Bolívar: Send Bolívar and 20 Independence Guards and 5 Heavy Cannons; Infantry has 10% health and damage, and all infantry gains 5% attack speed. (Units are Industrial level)

I’ll analyze the points you suggested to see what new cards I can add to the revolutions; thanks for the suggestions.

I think the card “Guerras Gauchas” should also enable the Infernales, they could have bonus against cavalry instead of infantry to compensate the Granaderos weakness against cavalry. The card “General Martín Miguel de Güemes” could improve the stats of all cavalry and revolutionaries by 10% and give the Infernales a ranged charged attack (a blunderbuss would be fine but I prefer a boleadoras) or stealth

I will analyze the points you mentioned to make some changes to those cards; thanks for the suggestion.

We are sharing the project in the forums so that developers might bring parts of it to life, now that support for AoE III has returned. Hopefully, there will be a positive response.

Ironically, this topic has been discussed multiple times since the AOE3DE forum was created. There are quite a few people who love revolutions and feel that revolutions deserve an improvement.

There are even some English-speaking YouTubers who have shown interest in the revolutions and have made it clear that the current South American revolutions only have a functional trick and sometimes not even that. There are also those who do not look favorably upon ahistorical characteristics such as the ability of mounted grenadiers to throw grenades.

Several people constantly request a Re-Work for the revolutions; this happens frequently.

I believe that at this point it is undeniable that the oldest revolutions deserve to be treated similarly to the newest revolutions. (German Confederation, Napoleonic France, and the Mayans)

Obviously, I’d love to see all revolutions improved, but I think the priority should be the precursor revolutions. I believe they deserve to be the first to be improved; in fact, I don’t just think they deserve it, I think they need to be improved, because without them, the mechanic we love so much wouldn’t exist today.

Obviously, this is just my opinion.

I agree with you; hopefully, there will be a positive response from the developers to improve the Latin American Revolutions in general.
