With release of Inca DE devs introduce a infinite trade card like “fur trade”, Malta also has one too since their release and Dutch got one also some patches ago.
Camayos(Inca) exchanges all food to coin
Dutch Paintings(Dutch) exchanges all coin too food
Barraka Gardens(Malta) exchanges all food to wood
This trades differ from fur trade and wood trade card because their rate is 1-1 exchange rate infinite usable times, while fur trade and wood trade is within 1.15 to 1.25 with single use.
Now as a treaty player from my experience only Inca trade is mandatory because their food gather rate is much better then coin gather rate, you rarely see Malta or Dutch players using their trade they either prefer using infinite wood shipment for malta players or using all mill cards for Dutch players, and the reason is because although you can use the card infinite times it exchanges ALL of resources from on another leaving you with 0 from the other making it, from all intent and purposes only good to be used one time before the fight, not during the fight, also:
Inca is more food reliant, so losing all your food will set you back
Dutch is more coin reliant so losing all your coin will set you back
Malta is more reliant on wood if you go pike/xbow walls, towers and forts, it isn’t as reliant on wood if you go other build, and even then i don’t think it would be worth or good to swap those 50k food to all wood leaving you with 0 food in middle of a fight
You can offset this by either using the market or asking for resources if you not 1v1 but i think this is a bad fix.
So i would propose a rework on this cards:
Exchange would be only of 75% of your current resources to leave the player with some of other resources to use in middle of a fight or 100% of current resource and lower to 75% after sending the card once
Also would lower the exchange rate by 0.1 for each time card was send, starting 1 to 1 and lowering and caping at 1 to 0.5, this way the card would be more useful, be a temporary rebound if you were in bad situation, but would prevent players from using it as crutch to keep their eco alive forever or abuse for their teamates.
