Ribauldoquinopia Civilization Concept for AoE4 [Portuguese Origins]
1) History
Before being known as Portugal, the kingdom of Ribauldoquinopia flourished in beloved Spain from the 10th century BC until the Muslim conquest in 720 AD. From then on, its culture struggled to survive, evolving into Portugal with the rise of King Portugo I in 1492. Its people, known for their constant use of the term “Ribauld” for everything, were characterized by a love of fractals, to the point of representing them in their art, culture, and even warfare. Its greatest unique unit, the Organ Gun, a primigenious Ribauldoquin, would be remembered as the symbol of Ribauldoquinopia’s national emblem.

- Wheat plants generate more branches than usual, so villagers gather 10/20/30% more food from them per age (Tier 1, 2, 3 of Farm techs disabled).

- All your siege units have multiple heads.
Ribauldo Tools
- You have unique technologies for economic camps related to fractal tools.
Ribauldo Town Centers
- Each age up you get a free Town Center Carriage, which can create another Town Center wherever you want. AoE3 Hint, hehehe.
3) Landmarks
None, the Ribauldoquinans didn’t build anything of historical value, and if they did, earthquakes destroyed it. They only advance with politicians, like in AoE3.

You get 2 cows. Each one produces 500 food.
- The Corrupt Captain:
You get 1 Corrupt Knight, a special unit that increases the attack of your units by 20%. You can produce another one in the Town Center when it dies; there are always enough corrupt knights.
iii).- Castle Age ups:
- The governor who loves fractals.-
Fractal technologies are 30% cheaper and Fractal Siege Weapons are 20% cheaper.
- Town Center lover governor.-
You get a Town Center Extra this age and the next.
Iv).- Imperial Age ups:
Renaissance King
Spearman and Crossbowmans upgrades are free.
Giving King
3000 gold in boxes that are collected quickly near the town center.

- Fractal Arrows (II).- Archers shoot arrows that divide between 3 arrows while flying, down 2 more attacks of 1 each one.
- Fractal Bolts (III).- Crossbowmans shoots Bolts that divide between 3 arrows while flying, down 2 more attacks of 2 each one.
- Fractal Lances (IV).- Lancers have multi-headed lances, which makes them impractical but looks great, so they do more damage at +5 (what logic!).
Triple Head Pickaxe (II).- Improves mining by +20%
5 Head Pickaxe (III).- Improves mining by +20%
10 Head Pickaxe (IV).- Improves mining by +20%
Triple Head Axe (II).- Improves logging by 20%
5 Head Axe (III).- Improves logging by 20%
10 Head Axe (IV).- Mining improvement +20%

Corrupt Captain
Increase the damage of nearby units by +20%. Efficient but corrupt.

- Corruption: Evey Age the cost to contract another cost 50 gold more.
Ribauldo Ram.
Ram with multiple heads (3). Can attack 3 nearly points at the same time.
RibauldoScorpion
A unique Springald that, when armed, has 5 heads that fire in a 360° arc in 5 directions, each separated by 60°.
RibauldoTrebushet
A unique Trebushet, has 5 arms and fires 5 times. It costs 4 times more and is slower to arm. Same stats as Trebs but with more shots.
Organ Gun
Unique Ribauldoquin of early age (III), and cheaper. Become more powerful with technologies.
HP: 150, Atk: 25x7, range:3.5. Ranged Resistance: 30%,
Cost: 350g 300w
- Church organs (IV): Organ guns are 25% cheaper
- Extra ribault guns (IV): Organ guns get 5 more cannons.
- Organ bullets (IV): Organ guns get +12 attack damage.
