Ringing Bell immediately twice makes villages go idle

If by accident you ring bell and then immediately ring again in order to cancel, villagers do not return to work and get completely idle. This is somewhat random, but the times it has happened is usually in late game with villager counts larger than 100.

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Arena is a good place to start
  2. Boom until you have 100 vills or more.
  3. Ring bell and immediately rering, sometimes Idles just stand there killing your eco effectively.

this behaviour currently doesn’t happen in our tests, could you provide us with additional information about when you were able to reproduce this issue? Thanks!

I had this as well pretty often in 256x games, the only place I have used the townbell ever, since you have to forcedrop food of if you have researched wheelbarrow too often (vills would carry thousands of food and never drop it of).

This happens when one has multiple town centers selected. Hit the town bell once it’ll garrison properly.
When hitting it again with multiple town centers selected to ungarrison with the bell one town center may ring as if it’s trying to garrison villagers again while all other town centers are properly trying to ungarrison. I’m guessing it’s giving conflicting orders to the villagers.

This is apparent with groups of close-together town centers.
