Devs will keeping adding aoe2 content till they feel like its enough.Aoe2 content sells well compared to others.

Yeah, I was talking about new civs or updates for RoR, I have no doubt there will be new dlcâs in the future for the medieval side of the game.
They still have different bonuses and tech trees, and the differences between the base tech tree tend to be bigger in AoE1 than AoE2. That said, I think to justify adding new civs, there would need to be new generic units as well, to help distinguish the new civs from existing ones. Of course, some of the existing civs could get new units as well, just as they did in The Rise of Rome.

Ideally they could add UUs (if only unique upgrades) and UTs, UTs for AOE2 did not exist in AOK and only appeared for The Conqueror.
