I tested the range by vs keep with cannon and other builds/units.

  1. Place wooden fortress outside keep cannon range (10)
  2. Upgrade springald emplacement, It won’t be able to attack the keep due to out of range
  3. Upgrade arrowslits at the same wooden fortress
  4. Now tower springald able to attack the keep outside cannon range!
