Looking at the patch notes you’d expect the damage for scouts with Professional Scouts upgrade to go from the base 4 damage to 12 damage. You’d expect this to apply to their normal attack and to their attacks against wild animals. I can’t say if this is a typo and the extra damage is only meant for wild animals but neither is the case.
Before upgrade their base damage is 4 and attacks on wild animals is 3. After upgrade their base damage remains as 4 and their attacks on wild animals is 6 (+100% damage only).
Their damage to wild animals after the upgrade goes from 3 to 6, only +100% damage increase, not +200%:
