Regarding the grenadiers. They are not effective against musketeers because muskets have a lot of HP, they are not effective against skirmishers because skirmishers have 6 more range, most of them have about 300 HP, they outplay them in number and, accordingly, DPS. They are not effective against melee infantry because they have no armor. They are not effective against cavalry or siege weapons because of multiplier. So it turns out that grenadiers can only fight against crossbowmen, strelets and cassadors. From the entire game. The most stupid design unit.
