Greetings all,
Is there a way to force skirmish to remember preferred settings in AoE4? Only thing it seems to save is my own civ choice. It may be limited clicks before each game but when I have to do it every time it get’s annoying, and it’s made worse by the fact that 3 predecessors(AoM, AoE2:DE and AoE3:DE) allows saving of skirmish settings.
Maybe I have missed something but it sure would be one hell of a Quality of Life improvement for me!
I also wish for the game to have that possibility. As far as I know there is no way to save those options.

Like, these are predefined settings. But does anybody ever pick them? This should be gone long time ago and instead the game should save your last single player skirmish settings.

True, AOEIV lacks way too many features if you compare it with its previous titles.
When I use the singleplayer skirmish setting it keeps the map, gamemode, tuning packs… but that’s it. Just the last thing I played (even between sessions). I think they should add some detail to it, preconfigured settings ala AoE 2.
They clearly have the ability since they included skirmish presets in the game, as pictured above. Something that’s been in since launch, so the foundations for this request are there.
