 DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.

If you start a scenario with units garrisoned in a battering ram, their bonus damage is applied to the ram permanently. For example, a normal ram in my scenario was doing 117 damage per hit to a castle. However, if I garrisoned that ram with 4 units in the editor, the ram would do 197 damage per hit. If I then ungarrisoned the units while ingame, the ram’s new default damage was 157.

Basically, if you garrison units in a ram in the editor, the bonus damage is applied to the ram permanently(+40 damage), and then it would add the bonus damage from the units on top of that (+40 again).

it’s not exactly a major or common issue, so probably not a super high priority, lol, but I thought I should mention it.

:arrow_forward: REPRODUCTION STEPS

 List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

Just do what I did above. Make a editor scenario with a ram that is garrisoned at the start and you’ll see it.

 What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?

The battering ram should have lower damage.

 ALWAYS attach a PICTURE (.jpg, .png, .gif) or VIDEO (.mp4, YouTube link) that highlights the problem.

Not really sure how I could make a meaningful screenshot. Well, here’s a picture of a normal battering ram doing 197 damage, more than it should be able to do: https://i.imgur.com/FPy5qAx.png

 Attach a SAVE GAME (.aoe2spgame) or GAME RECORDING (.aoe2record) of the match where you encountered the issue. Link it below if using an external file service.

I don’t know how to do that.
