:arrow_forward: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

I have noticed that last few days I have a problem with trying to use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge while game AoE2 is running, like when I wait in matchmaking lobby, while in match or even in starting screen. When I try to check something on the internet ONLY IN FULLSCREEN the whole screen crashes for few seconds with every mouse cursor movement. Problem disappears (or at least occures much much less frequent) in smaller window size, but still reappears when I put Chrome in fullscreen mode.

  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS) but only the last week, earlier it was fine

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. turn on the game
  2. minimize it
  3. try to do anything in Google Chrome on Microsoft Edge with fullscreen windows - screen goes black for few seconds with every cursor movement

Do your game running on HD?

Did you try other browsers, like Opera, Firefox or Brave?

If it’s not happening of windowed browser, what’s the point of wanting to go fullscreen? Shouldn’t you be playing a game? :rofl:

I don’t want to change browser, I want no interference between aoe2 and Chrome, like it was last ~3 years.
Sometimes queue can be long or you have to wait for teammate for a few minutes, I want to be able to spend this time browsing the web, not staring at civ icons motionless.
