the cinematic interface is so clunky - do you have any tips or guides?
well you have to be in cinematic mode, create a camera position then screen, that’s it.
Yeah, everything high really makes it beautiful but my frame drops to 5 fps, 19. Good enough to make a screenshot though.
What do you mean by cinematic? In the editor, there is an inbuilt screenshot function. You can screenshot even in extension .tga.
Btw, can you tell me how to put units on ships?
But how do you do it? XD

Well, I use the camera and then I capture my screen with the print screen key.

For ships it’s harder, you have to use the cliff or elevation tool to create a platform under the ship but be careful which is not visible then from the you can place units but after personally I find it rather long to find the ideal size for it to look normal
That vill got spider sense, she just dodged the attack without looking.
Hey! You can read the instructions posted by OP ‘eyecandy guide for aoe3’ . Explains how to use camera and cinematics, animations trigger, snow/rain triggers, and i saw now also how to place units in strange places.
I still love looking at all these very beautifull screenshots.
So much happyness °-° <3
1/10, that is an Incan leader in an Aztec city.
Jokes aside, I like it.
I know it is that the Inca chief I wanted to put the Aztec chief but he produces an aura that applies to all units even in kinematics I chose this character and thank you if you like this screen.
Make the chief another player or does it apply to allied too?
Enemies or allies it produces an aura I didn’t want it.
hello dev, why did you disable moving in Z axis in the editor with the shift + up key?
Also why do these commands not work?
// Sun. orientation keys
map ("+y", “editor”, “sunIncreaseInclination”)
map ("+shift-y", “editor”, “sunDecreaseInclination”)
map ("+alt-y", “editor”, “sunIncreaseRotation”)
map ("+alt-shift-y", “editor”, “sunDecreaseRotation”)
// Animation Controller
