So it’s a slightly worse factory but you can have it from the beginning of the game and you can rebuild it. Not that bad.

My takeaway is it’s much worse than trade posts or fish early, but it’s a better-than-nothing way to turn a bit of overgathered wood into long term economy later. Saw a lot of people saying to prioritise it immediately on Reddit, not sure that’s the play most of the time…

The Poles can also get 1 factory in industrial. Not as much as the civs who get 2 but it’s something to consider.

Yes, it’s like an early Capitol and a weaker factory…

Considering however it also buffs agriculture, is it really worse than f.e. a regular factory?

Oh no, it’s a significant upgrade from a factory. But, the question of when you build it, is much more open-ended. As it becomes much more powerful as your economy expands, but it doesn’t become more expensive to build in recognition of that.

It is however an interesting building facilitating either a boom OR a rush by itself. Aka not building it in age 1 vs building it in age 1.

I do think that is good design for the civ actually, rather than certain other civs…

Totally agree. I’m in absolute love with Poland. I’ve wanted Poland for decades and the devs have delivered pretty much exactly what I wanted. The feel of the civ is perfect. Needs some balance tweaks but it’s evidently going to be excellent.

Yes, it’s clear they put a lot of effort into creating a good Polish civ like the one in AoE 2…

Nahh, this is way better than the AoE2 equivalent. Poland, the civ known in this era for having arguably the greatest armoured cavalry the world ever saw, gets its AoE2 cavalry shredded by arrow fire to the point you need siege rams to fight ranged units. This AoE3 rendition is much truer to form.

That’s true…this Poland from AoE 3 is the real Poland in all its supremacy…

It is a fresh touch instead of plain resource rate.

I feel that it should have been the native americans factory equivalent tho. Or an asian wonder haha
