  • GAME BUILD #: 179158
  • GAME PLATFORM: Steam
  • OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 11

:play_button: ISSUE EXPERIENCED

:backhand_index_pointing_down: DESCRIBE THE ISSUE IN DETAIL (below). LIMIT TO ONE BUG PER THREAD.

In the game lobbies when choosing a civilization, there is a search box. It used to be I could search for “naval” or “infantry” in that search box and I would see all the civilizations that were that “type”- now that isn’t working any more.

:play_button: FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

:backhand_index_pointing_down: How often does the issue occur? CHOSE ONE; DELETE THE REST!

  • 100% of the time / matches I play (ALWAYS)

:play_button: REPRODUCTION STEPS

:backhand_index_pointing_down: List CLEAR and DETAILED STEPS we can take to reproduce the issue ourselves… Be descriptive!

Here’s the steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Launch game.

  2. Click “Single Player”, then “Skirmish”.

  3. Click “Skirmish”.

  4. In the player list, in the row for your [player] civilization, in the Civilization column click the currently selected civilization option.

  5. In the “Select Civilization” list, select the search box in the upper left corner and type the search term- for example, “infantry” or “naval”, etc.

:play_button: EXPECTED RESULT

:backhand_index_pointing_down: What was SUPPOSED to happen if the bug you encountered were not present?

Search results return all results for search term- eg if I search “infantry”, I’m going to get all results that are “Infantry Civilizations”.

I don’t use this feature, but I can confirm it doesn’t work for me either on Build #179158. I’ll take your word for it that it used to work
