Senario desgin question: Titan Air-Defense

I am curious if anyone knows any effective ways of adding flying unit protections for titans? I been experimenting myself but I curious if anyone knows any effective ways of tackling titans just getting mauled by air units for a custom scenario beyond banning air units or heavily penalizing their usage.

You can just use the trigger modify action with unittype and make damagebonus of flying units being 0.1 or even less

this isn’t about modding just perfectly vanilla custom scenario shanangins

I am aware of that but wanted to see if anyone had some more interesting ways of dealing with this.

You can give each flying unit the type LogicalTypeHandUnitsAttack, so that titans can attack them. This comes with the drawback of them being attackable by ALL hand units. However, if you’re up to the tedious task of altering every single hand unit other than titans, you can modify their damage to flying units to 0.

I can’t really think of any other interesting ways of doing this, but it is funny just watching titans smack flying units out of the air.

Well that downside is negotiable for my purposes and does sound more ideal than my attempts at trying to give titans a ranged attack…. Though did discover during my tests the building damage aura from titans can be asigned to other units properly with humorous results with its large radious.
